Why is there a price increase in Office 365 annual subscription? Am I getting some new stuff? I'm in Malaysia.

I'm in New Zealand - I have a MS 365 family license which is going up from $179 to $229 this year - a 28% increase in one year !

I don't see the extra benefits to justify this increase. We are struggling here with a cost of living vs income crisis. Not happy.

As I essentially only use Microsoft 365 for Word and Excel, I wish I could just pay for them.

Which platform did you end up with for $AUD40? very interested!

Just confirming that 'Classic' is available if you use the chat function with the Microsoft 365 pages.
I did not see the option above at any stage on the web. I HAD to go through the chat function.
Probably better if you log into your account before using it though.

I'm in Australia, using MS 365 Family. They had to cancel my current sub & take a new one out. Paid $139AUD.
No issues with any docs held in the cloud (OneDrive) either.

By the sounds of it, this function is for a limited time only. I'm not expecting to be able to do this next year.
Time will tell, but at least it gives me a year to review my options.

It seems I can switch to the subscription without AI only when I attempted to cancel my subscription.

I find it unusual that this option is not available explicitly.

If I try to switch plan from this page, there is no such option.
