Why is there a price increase in Office 365 annual subscription? Am I getting some new stuff? I'm in Malaysia.

My earlier price was below MYR300, but now it's above. :(

I agree 100%. i dont want their ai - dont need it so we should have option to have subscription without AI and keep our prices the same. The person who replied on behalf of MS gave us a link that just sends us in circles!! This is ridiculous that you cannot speak to someone to get this sorted out.

    You are not alone.

I’m in Malaysia and I was thinking to opt out the subscription to non Ai and without Ai the price is Rm440 99USD and with Ai the price is Rm390 89USD.

At the end I happen to saw Lotus are selling office 365 license key for Rm115 26USD and bought 1 year license and extended the existing subscription until Nov 2026.

According to Microsoft we can extend the subscription up to 5years as such I will get the license from Lotus and extend it till 2030.

this is crazy - read thru all the comments here since in the US my last year price for a family subscription was $69.99 now I see they want $90.99.

I went thru the process to "cancel" my subscription and was presented options for using AI and not using AI.

current renewal cost Microsoft 365 Family with AI: $90.99

current renewal cost Microsoft 365 Family without/AI: $99.99

Am I the only one with this crazy option of stuffing AI down my throat?

(apparently MS will not allow me to post an image)

Thnk - how does that work? Would it just be 365 less CoPilot?

Hello, the proposed Microsoft 365 price rise is extravagant to put it mildly and frankly after many years of being a Microsoft customer where's a bit of two-way customer retention and loyalty?

Please contact me to arrange a continued annual fee at the same rate as previous years without any of the new unsolicited Co Pilot developments which are definitely not wanted or necessary.

    Many thanks.

    Roger
