Not able to paste any images onto Microsoft whiteboard

Hi, I'm not able to paste any images that I have copied onto a blank Microsoft Whiteboard. I haven't experienced this problem until today. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried closing the application, restarting my computer, repairing the app in settings, uninstalling and reinstalling the app etc. Only appears to not work in this application as I can still paste images on other apps e.g. Word.

    Hi Avinash, I had an hour with a consultant this morning. This is what the outcome was and I copy from the transcript:

    It seems like they are not prepared to do anything to help us!

    The first solution mentioned "screenshot and Annotate" does not work! as we cannot paste it onto the whiteboard!

    The second solution suggested is too time consuming! Particularly when people are paying for tuition!

    This is totally unacceptable!

    I have been also facing the same issue since April 13 morning. Not sure what microsoft is doing, - can we escalate this any further on social media for them to recognize the severity of the issue?

    I am also dependent on the whiteboard app for my Math lesson with students.

    1. The lag starts after an hour of using the whiteboard - so it still persists
    2. The paste function is not working at all, no matter what you try
    3. And the undo function also doesn't work

    Totally agree. This is not a satisfactory that they simply can change the functionality of the whiteboard!

    One way that I have tried to solve the problem is to copy and paste into PowerPoint then my interactive pen can write on the PowerPoint presentation! You just have to remember to erase your inked notations before saving the PowerPoint so that you can use it again for another student!

    I use zoom for teaching as Teams did not allow me to share screen! So after getting in touch with Microsoft support who could not solve my problem , I lost a student due to this! So I started using zoom paid version. You get only 3 whiteboards. But it us better than nothing!
