Hi, I'm not able to paste any images that I have copied onto a blank Microsoft Whiteboard. I haven't experienced this problem until today. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried closing the application, restarting my computer, repairing the app in settings, uninstalling and reinstalling the app etc. Only appears to not work in this application as I can still paste images on other apps e.g. Word.

I have the same problem on version 24.10328.108 in Windows 11. I can neither paste images nor press the undo button. It has been happening to me for two days. I tried uninstalling and rebooting pc, but it didn't work either
This situation is absurd. I've encountered the issue and attempted all available methods, including uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Microsoft consistently seems to introduce such problems without thoroughly testing the app with new updates. It's incredibly disappointing.
Oh, wow, thank you so much for raising this flag for us all, Joan! Even one day of this issue was hugely frustrating, for me. I'm a math tutor, and sometimes my students send in their problem sets right before a session or even hold up their questions to the camera, during the session. Cutting and pasting screenshots has been my go-to, efficient way of adding such images to my whiteboards, but yesterday I had to use Paint as an intermediary to process and save every image, before then rummaging through my file system to add the new files. Everything slowed to a crawl. Thank you so very much for bringing this to Microsoft's attention. You're helping us all!

This afternoon I had a live chat with Microsoft support. The consultant tried everything. He took control of my computer and uninstalled and then reinstalled whiteboard, still no improvement! By the way when he reinstalled, all my boards were still there! He checked all the settings on my computer and found no joy! He reported the problem to technical department and asked them to look into it. He suggested we wait 24 to 48 hours, and the glitch may have been repaired. Then try again. I have a case number and will report back to them if there is no improvement.
Thank you all so much for your replies, and particularly for the original question. I've also been encountering this issue, and the onset of it was also exactly yesterday. Had I not found this thread, I'd have uninstalled, hoping that a reinstallation would be clean and sort the problem. You've saved all my boards! Thank you!
I paste mainly images into my whiteboards. I've been working around this glitch by saving images and then inserting the image files. This still works, but it's not as efficient as pasting in from the clipboard, and doesn't help if you want to paste text in, either.
Thank you again for sharing your experiences publicly. Resetting hadn't worked. I was on the verge of uninstalling, and would have, if not for all of you.
