Access randomly crashing when I try to filter

Having this issue for the past few days.
Every once in a while, when I try to filter a field, access will crash. It doesn't matter how big the table I'm trying to filter is.

Sometimes it crashes when I'm not even touching it. It's just open in the background when I'm working on something else.
More rare though. So not sure if it's even related.

Any ideas?

    Hi,

    We have published a bug-documenting article on AFo today. What Microsoft needs is a "reliable" reproduction scenario or a database with which the problem can be reproduced.

    I myself have only "succeeded" to crash version 2407 once when I newly created and activated a filter by form filter. After the first time it didn't happen again. Other colleagues have not been able to reproduce it a single time. However, a repro scenario is a basic requirement for a fix.

    Can someone provide this?

    Following update after 5th August the Toggle Filter crashes access under certain commands. No fixes seem to respond and is naturally affecting business now so require an urgent update.

    Under App's within my 365 account access is no longer listed even though I have been using it for years!! Has MS removed as they are aware and looking at a fix?

    Thinking of updating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 to see if MS have provided a fix under Windows 11.

    Any thoughts would be welcome as this is causing major effects on our business.

    I am having the same problem on both a desktop and virtual/remote desktop, both of which I believe have the most recent Microsoft Office update. I pulled a copy of the database I'm using from my desktop and ran it from my laptop. It is working fine. Microsoft needs to check their update from August 1st and fix the problem. I literally can't do anything as I don't have admin rights to my desktop, so I can't even roll back the update to the previous version.

    Try to import all your db objects into a brand new blank database file and see if the problem persist.
