I am having problems with shared folders in OneDrive. They are showing up as internet shortcuts only, I used to have them in File Explorer as a folder that I would click on to access content of that shared folder. My IT person found a website stating that Microsoft is aware of this issue. When will this be fixed?

This just happened to me. I share a folder with my wife and the contents were synched locally on her machine. They just disappeared and the folder turned into a link and now there is no option to synch the folder, only create shortcut. This thread is nine months old and there's still no fix? **** Microsoft?!
Completely agree. It does at least explain why I get a pathetic message in OneDrive on the web saying "user migrated" that keeps constantly refreshing.
The statement they gave is essentially an insanity plea. Whoever dreamed up a migration like this without considering the knock-on effects on their PAYING customers has hopefully been fired for their sheer incompetence and failure to observe even the most basic principles of customer satisfaction.
The development team also gets money for the mess they have caused.

That's the same answer they are giving for months...
My issue here is no timeline to resolution, a way to check when accounts will be "migrated" or anything of sorts...
The other thing of course is this being 10 months old of an issue means... they never even cared anyways... it just happened my accounts are affected now and some where 10 months ago while others 3-4-5-6 etc...
The replies from MS "support" are also not helping just pointing to a page that says "this is a known issue - hang in there"...
