OneDrive: Shared folders are only available via internet shortcut

The worst reply i ever received from a company like (MS). They say they don’t have ETA when the issue will be solved. Who believe that ???

do you want to convince me that MS can’t find a solution ???

This issue seems to be intended by MS to the users. While we are paying you yearly for a service and you can’t provide a proper service.

Anyway, after almost many years with MS, i hade to move to a different provider who offer better service and cancelled my subscription with MS.

OK, so, nine months later, is there an update? This is a key feature.

Same for me, we are paying for a family plan and we need to work. Please somebody in Microsoft rise the voice to tell us how will you compensate us! Is incredible that we are still waiting after 1 year.

A couple of comments to add on this:

1 - despite Microsoft's claims that they don't support when one user has been migrated and the other user hasn't, both my iOS and Android devices continue to work with links to shared folders without any problems whatsoever. So they can support it - I'm starting to wonder if this is deliberate in order to force people to use internet rather than local URLs.

2 - I suspect Microsoft's plan for the 'solution' for this problem is simply to wait until the second user has also migrated, at which point everything will start to work again. Given that they've supposedly been doing this migration for over a year now (which in itself beggars belief), it's probably not a good idea to hold your breath while waiting for this to happen...
