Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
I am in a mess! I started, yesterday, by simply trying to change my payment method. To do that, the instructions I read told me to end my current subscription. I did. I changed the payment for my monthly subscription from PayPal to my bank's debit card. Later, yesterday , I shutdown my computer. I awoke this morning at about 2:10AM out of restlessness. I decided to turn on my desktop computer. I saw that the small blue Skype logo was now white. Skype did not start for me as it usually does when I start my computer. My operating system is linux and the application is called "skypeforlinux". I could not start it. I went to my browser and booted www dot skype dot com. I signed in to my account. It showed my subscription in gray. I could not determine why. Instructions directed me to www dot microsoft dot com. There was offered a 1 year's subscription (I thought to Skype) for $74. I foolishly thought I would be replacing the Skype subscription that was grayed out. I think now it was an entirely different subscription that continues in 2025. I canceled it, but I was only able to cancel next year's. Now I am out $74, and I still have the Skype problem. What to do! I now have no telephone connection at all, and I cannot get a Skype chat. Maybe in the morning I shall be more successful. I had better try to sleep now. What to do!
