How can I actually chat with Microsoft support or talk to someone?

About a month ago I was able to get access to this chat via Microsoft and has a case that was opened up and was supposed to hear back after physically talking to a Microsoft technical support agent on the phone but have not heard anything since the first week of March on Thursday the 7th. I am very discouraged as this has been going on for over a month with no updates and cannot figure out a way to get contacted with support. Someone created a microsoft account with my email and I want that to be removed as I do not want that to be linked to an account that is not mine, I had even uploaded files when on the phone with the support agent showing that the account created is not mine.

If anyone has any ideas or knows of the chat or support agent I would greatly appreciate it.

    Neither did I; however, Apple still does not have an equal product especially with Word and Excel. I usually purchase 'Student and Home" one-time purchase. However, I need the "dictate" new feature on Microsoft 365. So, I purchased and downloaded it on 1 computer. The feature is not there; although it appears to be out for more than 6 months. I have the highest Windows version, so that is not the issue.

    I have "Student & Home" versions of Microsoft on other computers. However, I am finding that after 2 years this version, especially Excel, begins to have problems with entering numbers on a spreadsheet, and you need to save the file; close the file; and reopen. You end up doing this more than 10 times within and 8 hour time period.

    Sure wish other software companies would provide products in competition to Microsoft 365

    This is awful advice. None of the prompts indicated were in place. It has been a frustrating experience trying to get help with MS products and services. Customer service is non-existence aside from pre-fabricated answers. Thinking about selling my MAC and purchasing a Dell.

    It should be easier, but this advice from another forum discussion seems to work. Note that you will probably need to have a subscription to some MS product. I have MS 365 (Office).

     Go to the following Web site: Contact - Microsoft Support

    (Monday to Friday: 9am to 6pm. Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

    • Type contact in the search box.
    • Select Contact Support in the bottom (sign in to your personal Microsoft account).
    • UnderProducts and services, select Microsoft 365 and Office.
    • UnderCategory, select Manage my subscription.
    • Go toConfirm.
    • Select Chat with a support agent in your web browser.

    I think chat works 24/7; the hours seem to apply to phone support (call back). The guy I chatted with was actually quite helpful.
