I figured it out!!!
Ditch MS. Buy Dropbox. Works seamlessly. It's less expensive too.
Stop feeding this liberal tank of funding. Use what works.

These issues are specifically for accessing files/folders within File Explorer.
Noted today that for shared folders that were previously added (and readded today) to My Files do not allow access to the contents of the folder but instead they appear as a link to the webpage portal for access to the folder.
Initial access to the web portal version did not seem to work until after logging out and back in again (I think this is referenced in a published workaround).
Further, the same shared folder cannot be accessed via the link in Quick Access. It provides a "location is not found" error instead.
Not sure if there's a fix to this pending?

Were you able to transfer all the files easily over to drop box? I do need excel and word, but I suppose I could make a one time purchase of those and save money in the long run.
Yes. Once you install it, you just copy the folder over into Dropbox and login wherever you need to and the files show up, like OneDrive used to!
How do I reach an actual person to get a problem resolved. These forums are getting us no where and the issues just keep getting worse
I really don't think Microsoft gives a ****. As long as you paying for your subscription. There is no way all these smart people can't fix this. Must be a cost cutting measure.
