OneDrive: In windows 11, file explorer no longer allows you access to shared folders within "my files" or QuickAccess except as a link to the online version of the folder

These issues are specifically for accessing files/folders within File Explorer.

Noted today that for shared folders that were previously added (and readded today) to My Files do not allow access to the contents of the folder but instead they appear as a link to the webpage portal for access to the folder.

Initial access to the web portal version did not seem to work until after logging out and back in again (I think this is referenced in a published workaround).

Further, the same shared folder cannot be accessed via the link in Quick Access. It provides a "location is not found" error instead.

Not sure if there's a fix to this pending?

While your frustration is understandable, Google has a long history of dropping products, sabotaging interoperability with other vendors' products, and abandoning users whenever it suits them. Hope you didn't jump from the frying pan into the fire, but there's a good chance you did.

Just remember Google just decided on a whim that they would change the name of the Gulf of Mexico. You should see me trying to explain that to my grandchildren. Tell them the globe i bought them is right.

The only solution is to wait until Microsoft finishes with you. After they're done, your shared OneDrive should just come back on its own.

Same issue. Upgraded to Windows 11 a couple weeks ago. Yesterday lost my shared OneDrive folder from File Explorer. PitA.
