OneDrive: In windows 11, file explorer no longer allows you access to shared folders within "my files" or QuickAccess except as a link to the online version of the folder

These issues are specifically for accessing files/folders within File Explorer.

Noted today that for shared folders that were previously added (and readded today) to My Files do not allow access to the contents of the folder but instead they appear as a link to the webpage portal for access to the folder.

Initial access to the web portal version did not seem to work until after logging out and back in again (I think this is referenced in a published workaround).

Further, the same shared folder cannot be accessed via the link in Quick Access. It provides a "location is not found" error instead.

Not sure if there's a fix to this pending?

    December 9th 2024 now.... still have the issue....

    If you check your One Drive folder on the browser now, can you see the "Sync" option? 🤔 That should be the biggest issue

    I didn't do anything. Just recently noticed that I could again access the files directly through File Manager as I had been able to do before.
