OneDrive: In windows 11, file explorer no longer allows you access to shared folders within "my files" or QuickAccess except as a link to the online version of the folder

These issues are specifically for accessing files/folders within File Explorer.
Noted today that for shared folders that were previously added (and readded today) to My Files do not allow access to the contents of the folder but instead they appear as a link to the webpage portal for access to the folder.
Initial access to the web portal version did not seem to work until after logging out and back in again (I think this is referenced in a published workaround).
Further, the same shared folder cannot be accessed via the link in Quick Access. It provides a "location is not found" error instead.
Not sure if there's a fix to this pending?

2024-09-18T20:18:25+00:00 WTH !!! I'm still running Windows 10 and can no longer access the vast number of files I've stored on One Drive via Internet Explorer.. The folks at M'soft have really screwed it up. Good work, folks!

2024-08-12T12:27:22+00:00 Yes. Once you install it, you just copy the folder over into Dropbox and login wherever you need to and the files show up, like OneDrive used to!

2024-08-12T12:11:39+00:00 Were you able to transfer all the files easily over to drop box? I do need excel and word, but I suppose I could make a one time purchase of those and save money in the long run.
