i just noticed that i have 2 onedrives on my device. Both are exactly the same and contain the same files. They don't cause any errors but I wonder if there is any way to delete one of them.
There is also another onedrive folder in C:\Users\Hao\OneDrive which is similar to the two above. Sorry if I didn't explain clearly, I'm not a native speaker

I took Yamastraka's advice and gave up on Onedrive since it appears Microsoft can not get Onedrive to work correctly and moved to DropBox. Now no reason to pay for the Office 365 subscription since I don't use the storage space.

I for one do not edit the registry and this issue has caused me a lot of grief, especially in my business where we use Microsoft 365.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Wanda and I don't believe she was being rude. This is an issue which, according to your forum, has being going on for years. It is unacceptable to expect users to edit the Registery in a circumstance like this. I believe Microsoft (with whom I have been a customer for 45 years) should fix this issue.
My problem is that the registry entry we need to change does not appear in my registry. So I can’t change the values.

I changed the registry entry for the first occurrence i found in CLSID and this removed one of the Name – Personal icons (?) immediately on viewing after changing the registry.
Unfortunately the 2 name - Personal icons reappeared on rebooting the PC.
The first occurrence was also reset to 1. I therefore change the second occurrence and this time after rebooting the computer there was only one occurrence of the Name – Personal.
Hopefully this will have solved the problem, thank you.
