i just noticed that i have 2 onedrives on my device. Both are exactly the same and contain the same files. They don't cause any errors but I wonder if there is any way to delete one of them.
There is also another onedrive folder in C:\Users\Hao\OneDrive which is similar to the two above. Sorry if I didn't explain clearly, I'm not a native speaker

This just happened to me around the same time. Why do I have to play with registry and risk breaking stuff. I just want things to work. I am sorry Microsoft; this is NOT a good solution. Something happened and it needs to be looked into. We pay the $$ for new systems, you get the $$$ for maintaining and making sure it stays working.
What has solved the problem for me:
follow the advice given by Zenobia.Z - MSFT re registry - BUT if the duplicate folder returns after a restart go back to the registry and find the second entry for OneDrive. Go to 'Find' and Click 'Find Next' (or F3) as often as necessary to reach the next registry entry. Set as above to 0, close registry, restart.
In my case, I think it is a not deleted registry entry from a previous OneDrive installation that wasn't cleanly deleted. Re-Installing Office/OneDrive caused a second registry entry. Perhaps there are even more, I will wait and see.
If that works, i.e., the duplicate folder is gone, the registry entry can be deleted so it will not return. Or first just renamed, to be safe.
Anyway, worked for me. Hope it helps.

This worked for me. I have registry entries for both "OneDrive - Personal" and for "OneDrive"
Changing the value of "OneDrive - Personal" didn't work because it always resets to a value of 1 on restart
Changing the value of "OneDrive" DID WORK when changed the decimal value to 0
I'm afraid I have to agree with Wanda and I don't believe she was being rude. This is an issue which, according to your forum, has being going on for years. It is unacceptable to expect users to edit the Registery in a circumstance like this. I believe Microsoft (with whom I have been a customer for 45 years) should fix this issue.
