A OneDrive folder has been shared with me, but in windows File Explorer, it appears as a link rather than a folder when I add it as a shortcut to OneDrive "My Files". How can I fix this so the shortcut appears as a folder instead of a link?

Microsoft fix this, otherwise return our money. seriously you have the issue since 2024 and my computer started having the issue this year. there is something you are not doing right. definitely you are not trying to fix
I've started having this issue since 4March, after the KB5052093 installation.
It totally cleaned over 400GB i had on my drive since i had the option to "always keep on this device" .
And i need to have a local copy of those files on my drive, not having to open a browser to check the files.....
It is time to quit microsoft.
two days ago i was emailed by microsoft to inform me that my account was suspended for violations of their policy. 600gb of online storage has been confiscated and access to my emails has been revoked! I have lost everything. microsoft and the cloud is not safe. i thought that it was the safest space to store all of my things. i could not have been more incorrect.
I no longer have access to any of my digital photos and personal files. it is insane. no feedback or justification given. not possible to speak to a human. all i can do is wait and hope that access is restored. INSANE.

No resolution or Feedback till yet. Apparently this issue has been highlighted by many people since June 2024 and they have also been stranded till date.
