A OneDrive folder has been shared with me, but in windows File Explorer, it appears as a link rather than a folder when I add it as a shortcut to OneDrive "My Files". How can I fix this so the shortcut appears as a folder instead of a link?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

The best thing is to focus on back up and finding alternative cloud space. As of life, any journey has an ending though Microsoft do not need to behave such cruel, offering services they don't intend to maintain. We need to go on twitter and all social media and share the frustration or pursue damages.

My employee is having the same issue, very randomly. I troubleshooted, chat GPT'd, researched the heck out of it, tried everything, spent about 5 hours trying to fix it, Why hasn't Microsoft put in a solution procedure here yet?
