No more option to delete all files from my onedrive recycle bin

I can't empty anymore my onedrive recycle bin at once, when i select all the files in the onedrive recycle bin the option "delete" is no more presented, only the option "restore" is.

If I empty it thru the "manage storage" page and the "empty recycle bin" hyperlink, files are still there even hours later.

The only option is select a single file at a time and use the 3 dots menu where the option "delete" is presented. But as this is file by file, this is of course completely unefficient and therefor unacceptable.

I just find out that i can select maximum 50 files to delete them all at once. Starting from 51, the option disappears... Unbelievable?!

    This doesn't work. There is not option to DELETE, only restore.

    There is no longer an option to Empty Recycle Bin in One Drive. Selecting them or right clicking files does not give you a delete option either. All you get is 'Restore' or 'Details'. So who is the genius at Microsoft that did this and took away the ability to permanently delete files? Now everything in the bin stays there.

    If you click on the storage at the bottom left of the page it takes you to a new page which has an "Empty Recycle Bin" option highlighted in blue. But when you choose that nothing happens, the files don't delete.

    What kind of a stupid joke is this?

    FIX IT NOW Microsoft! This is utter incompetence!

    I noticed that when I dragged over the files (instead of selecting the box) then the delete option appeared. Selecting a box will now show the delete option as well. Sadly, it appears you can only delete 50 files at a time.

    Thank you! This actually worked for me, but I also agree with the comment above by John Richardson6 that hiding the empty recycle bin option in an obscure place is clearly a tactic to frustrate people into purchasing more storage. Apple does the same garbage.

    There is one place where this option is still available, go to: https://onedrive.live.com/?v=managestorage

    and there is global delete
