No more option to delete all files from my onedrive recycle bin

I can't empty anymore my onedrive recycle bin at once, when i select all the files in the onedrive recycle bin the option "delete" is no more presented, only the option "restore" is.

If I empty it thru the "manage storage" page and the "empty recycle bin" hyperlink, files are still there even hours later.

The only option is select a single file at a time and use the 3 dots menu where the option "delete" is presented. But as this is file by file, this is of course completely unefficient and therefor unacceptable.

I just find out that i can select maximum 50 files to delete them all at once. Starting from 51, the option disappears... Unbelievable?!

    Hello Antoine M,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. My name is Raymond and I'm happy to help.

Sorry for this inconvenience. However, have you tried emptying the recycle bin from OneDrive.com?

If not, please try using the steps below:

"Go to OneDrive.com > select Recycle bin in the OneDrive left side navigation > select Empty recycle bin in the top navigation.

Note: this action will permanently delete the entire recycle bin at once".

The steps above were obtained from Microsoft support article: https://support.microsoft.com/office/21fe345a-e488-4fa7-932b-f053c1bebe8a

Please let me know if you need more assistance.

You shouldn't need to select any files when emptying the online recycle bin.

If I don't select any file, I don't see any action button, neither "restore" nor "delete" which seems normal (at least usual) to me.

    Hi Raymond,

    Thanks for helping.

My issue is actually with OneDrive.live.com, does it make a difference ? I guess not as this is the URL from my OneDrive app on desktop.

When i'm on the page Recycle Bin (as you described), there is no button to empty it if I don't select any files, as you can see below

    Image

And when I select a file, I have only the "restore" action shown

    Image

Maybe this is due to the nature of the file in this case because I didn't get it so yesterday?

When I selected all files in my OneDrive recycle bin yesterday, the "delete" button didn't appear and the "restore" one well.
When I selected a few files, actually maximum 50, the "delete" button did appear.

That's the workaround I used yesterday to empty my recycle bin but, as said, not very efficient.

    Hope it helps to investigate.

Right-click the checked files and see if you can delete them.
