A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
While I'm certain Microsoft doesn't care about my opinion, I'd still like it voiced here. As a long time IT professional, MS' lack of attention to such a basic need/request by so many indicates that MS isn't listening to its customers. The simplicity of including a mechanism to empty the recycle bin seems like a junior first year programmer could spend 30 minutes fixing that code (I'm sure that comment will be disputed). Instead the bizarre work arounds and methodologies that have to be followed (use your iPhone?, select 1 delete it and the hurry to select fifty more before the button disappears? go to buy more storage - isn't that why I'm trying to empty the recycle bin? ... etc etc...) has this one un-influential customer seriously reconsidering the whole MS subscription choice. I realize in 30 days it will be purged (according to MS and the myriad of emails I get when I delete multiple old files....), but as demonstrated by a lot of customers, they can't/don't want to wait and need the recycle bin emptied now.... At the moment, when I want to empty my Trash/Recycle bin on Google Drive (btw, free 15GB per account) works perfectly without question regardless if I'm on my phone, Windows, Linux or macOS PC. The same thing can be said about iCloud, iDrive, Dropbox and a myriad of other cloud storage solutions. Such a simple and basic functionality not working (and worse, not being addressed by the vendor...) demonstrates Microsoft's commitment to the customer post the sale of the subscription.
