How to disable copilot on microsoft office (excel, word, ppt) on Macbook

I am using a Macbook Air, last week I tried the free trial of the copilot, but since I don't find it helpful, and even my word keeps on lagging, now I want to disable the copilot.

I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft 365, and several tips on the internet, but none of them is working. The copilot is still there. and I find it so annoying.

Can someone help me to show me the way to disable the copilot, please?

    Okay, not there for Mac.
    But, my bigger question... I want, NEED, an assurance from Microsoft that this AI isn't scraping my work even when the assistant is turned off.

    I'm with you Alex. I want a written guarantee that my content isn't being scraped. Hey MICROSOFT MODERATORS - When are you going to weigh in and give us - particularly Mac Users - instructions that actually work and a guarantee that you're not scraping our content?

    HEY MICROSOFT MODERATORS - When are you going to start answering your phones again? I've called all 3 of your support numbers and your damn system is refusing to forward me to a representative and is hanging up on me. For the record, here are the publishing public Microsoft phone numbers and NONE of them are providing access to support reps: 855.270.0615; 800.865.9408; 800.642.7676. MICROSOFT, IF YOU DON'T PICK UP YOUR PHONES AND START PROVIDING SERVICE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS, I WILL CONTACT THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION.

    My Microsoft Account shows Subscriptions (not Services and Subscriptions).

    There is no CoPilot link on the page. None.

    I don;t want OneDrive or CoPilot.

    Please get rid of them for me.
