I am using a Macbook Air, last week I tried the free trial of the copilot, but since I don't find it helpful, and even my word keeps on lagging, now I want to disable the copilot.
I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft 365, and several tips on the internet, but none of them is working. The copilot is still there. and I find it so annoying.
Can someone help me to show me the way to disable the copilot, please?
Thank you!

I'm using Mac Sonoma, and can't find any add-ins to turn off in Word preferences, can you please elaborate?
This does not work, there is no option to disable or do anything at all.
Please advise.
I'm using the new Sequoia and there's no feature under Preferences that says 'Add-ins'. It's only on the toolbar when I open a Word document. And when I click on the 'Add-ins' button there is no CoPilot there. It's like CoPilot is not considered an Add-in. It's built in to the updated system!
In the Service & Subscription area there is only an option to go to Copilot Pro. There is no option to switch it off. There is a new AU$179 option which includes AI but there is a $139 option which has no AI. This will be my selection to rid myself of Copilot. When I need assistance I will ask for it. Don’t push Copilot on me. I will now never even try this feature.
