Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
There is no 'options' under File in Word for Mac - there never has been. I assume that is in the Windows version.

I am using a Macbook Air, last week I tried the free trial of the copilot, but since I don't find it helpful, and even my word keeps on lagging, now I want to disable the copilot.
I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft 365, and several tips on the internet, but none of them is working. The copilot is still there. and I find it so annoying.
Can someone help me to show me the way to disable the copilot, please?
Thank you!

To remove the Copilot icon from the ribbon in Microsoft Word, you can clear the Enable Copilot checkbox in the app. You can also remove the icon from the ribbon without turning off Copilot.
Turn off Copilot
Yes, that turns off the Copilot UI in Word, as stated upthread. No such option in Excel, OneNote, Outlook, or PowerPoint though.
I'm on windows / office 365. In Word, go to File -> Options (all the way on the bottom on the left) -> Copilot (4th one down) -> Unclick "Enable Copilot"
Dear Baron, please don’t kid yourself. Microsoft has been fined over 1.6 BILLION Euros by the E.U. but it is still doing whatever it pleases. It is too big for its own good. The only way you can do anything about this is to complain to the Competition authority of the E.U. See my previous post for the link.
