I am using a Macbook Air, last week I tried the free trial of the copilot, but since I don't find it helpful, and even my word keeps on lagging, now I want to disable the copilot.
I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft 365, and several tips on the internet, but none of them is working. The copilot is still there. and I find it so annoying.
Can someone help me to show me the way to disable the copilot, please?
Thank you!

Because I have a Mac, I have turned to using Pages. I will only use Word if I need to spellcheck, which I still like, or I am desperate.
I've opened two support cases and neither was helpful. One just directed me to call the business sales line which you cannot speak to a human and they do not help with personal accounts.
I have zero way to go to the classic family subscription and instead forced to use a subscription that I didn't consent to.
So, I'm spending my day exporting all my stuff from OneDrive and will be cancelling, not only Office 365, but the multiple Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions I have as well. Fortunately, I switched OSs a long time ago, but if this is how Microsoft is going to engage with its customers, I won't be one.
Ya'all notice that its just users asking for this to be removed? Not one response from Microsoft. Not even a sorry you don't like it, but trust me AI will revolutionize things (which is BS but it would show they read the forums). They set this up so folks would feel like they were being heard but then dip.
They don't care. They invested a ton into this STUPID CoPilot that literally no one wants, so its not going anywhere.
Proof me wrong Microsoft and respond to this with SUBSTANTIVE ways to remove CoPilot PERMANENTLY.
