How to disable copilot on microsoft office (excel, word, ppt) on Macbook

I am using a Macbook Air, last week I tried the free trial of the copilot, but since I don't find it helpful, and even my word keeps on lagging, now I want to disable the copilot.

I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft 365, and several tips on the internet, but none of them is working. The copilot is still there. and I find it so annoying.

Can someone help me to show me the way to disable the copilot, please?

Thank you!

Michelle - totally get your frustration. But the problem is that there is no fix for this, until Microsoft does the right thing and offers a way to disable. The suggestions that have worked only work on a PC - and us Mac users are out in the cold. Let's hope that someone at Microsoft is reading all these comments, and then gets their programmers in gear to fix this. If we're forced to use this tool and it's scraping our content, that's illegal.

    Good idea, thanks.

I'm getting completely fed up with everyone posting how much they hate co-pilot with no actual fix.

Unless you have one, can you please stop grizzling, nothing you say hasn't already been said multiple times.

    Fixes only please.

Let's not yell at the person who can a suggestion to fix. They are NOT with Microsoft. Just another disgruntled customer who managed to find something that worked for them.

Agree with Esther - "your FIX DOES NOT WORK". There is no "services & subscription" tab!

There is NO SERVICES & SUBSCRIPTION Tab - therefore your response/fix is of no value!
