How to disable copilot on microsoft office (excel, word, ppt) on Macbook

I am using a Macbook Air, last week I tried the free trial of the copilot, but since I don't find it helpful, and even my word keeps on lagging, now I want to disable the copilot.

I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft 365, and several tips on the internet, but none of them is working. The copilot is still there. and I find it so annoying.

Can someone help me to show me the way to disable the copilot, please?

    The instructions only work on Word. They do not work in Excel or Powerpoint. At this point there is NO WAY to remove it from anything but Word.

    Please people do not complain to the other users about how the instructions don't work. They do not want for Microsoft. They are just frustrated users like everyone else.

    No one from Microsoft is bothering to respond to our concerns. But keep documenting them without blaming other users for it not being fixed.

    This instruction is wrong. I am trying to remove Copilot from Powerpoint, including the supremely annoying icon. First, my account does NOT show Services & Subscriptions; it shows only Subscriptions. Second, COPILOT appears nowhere on this page or any other page that I scroll through.

    Indeed, and this not a bug, it is by design. Microsoft is simply forcing us to use Copilot.. Reason enough to ditch Microsoft. This company has already been fined hundreds of millions of Euros by the E.U. but continues to defy its rules. If you live in the E.U. you can take action by contacting the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition. Here is its website EC DG COMP
