I am using a Macbook Air, last week I tried the free trial of the copilot, but since I don't find it helpful, and even my word keeps on lagging, now I want to disable the copilot.
I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft 365, and several tips on the internet, but none of them is working. The copilot is still there. and I find it so annoying.
Can someone help me to show me the way to disable the copilot, please?

I found a program called Libre Office - it's free, and you can open all Word, Excel, Publisher etc documents in it. And it hasn't got the Copilot thing - I am cancelling my Office subscription and changing over to that.

Is this for Mac users? I don't find the tab for Account in Word under File...
I agree with you, I am just a regular user of Microsoft and I've been paying for a family subscription for years, I didn't even realise that there was a free option!
But as far as the copilot thing is concerned, I am done. I couldn't get any help from Microsoft at all.
I have changed to Libre Office - it's totally free and you can open any Microsoft documents with it.
