I think you are missing the point - there is no 'fix'. Not simple ones anyway.
People are totally entitled to vent when a company they pay good money to has just, without their knowledge, added an unwanted and extremely intrusive feature AND has, without their authorization, started charging them more for this unwanted and unannounced feature without any easy or immediate way to switch it off.
Microsoft have made a very serious mistake with how they have deployed CoPilot and it is important they are made acutely aware of this.
A thread such as this, with a lot of angry paying customers 'grizzling' as you condescendingly describe it, is a very important part of that.
So called 'community specialists', Microsoft proxies, are the ones who should not be posting when they cannot even post fixes that actually work. That just makes folks angrier.
