Please help me disable personal vault I didn't want it and I can't get rid of it.

Thanks for that it worked a treat. Dang Microsoft certainly doesn't make it easy even after uninstalling OneDrive I

could not find it in the Windows App Store, had to go to their support page for the download and then they coughed

up a link.

That's 30 mins out of my life I will never get back. All this to disable Vault, which is a OneDrive Option that I did

not need or want in the first place.

Well at least Microsoft enables you to reach an outcome, unlike another Behomoth that I will not name, I had to

go to an iPhone to fix my Android problems due to Nil Support over 4 weeks.

I don't want to uninstall OneDrive I think having Personal Vault should be made optional and not hardwired into OneDrive.

there is no option to disable according to instructions. or anywhere else as far as i can tell. but there sure are constant errors about not having enough time to sync the 1 text file in the vault.

i'm not sure how much time it needs to sync one single text file but i don't want constant errors telling me to unlock a "personal vault" to fix the problem.

I found a solution. I unliked the PC to One Drive and transferred everything to Dropbox. Then deleted the OneDrive folder, and I won't use it again.

Toggle the folder sync to OFF at Manage Backup:
