Please help me disable personal vault I didn't want it and I can't get rid of it.

Been a Mac user for 5 years and bought a PC, the OneDrive app was so insistent to enable Personal Vault and now I get an exasperating message in red that Personal Vault hasn't finished syncing when I haven't copied anything to it. Since I want the message gone, I figured, easy, just delete it, but to my surprise, am not the only one with the same problem. Worst of all, after wasting so much time to look for a solution, there is no fix.

Shame on you MS for making your users hate you.

I'm with you there I've considered switching to a Mac or Chromebook it depends on which one would have the best memory. Currently my PC has 2 TB. So unless Mac or Chromebook could match that I'll stick with PC. But MS Needs to take note there comes a time when our patience will run out and then watch us leave MS's sinking ship.

The best thing I have been able to do is unlink my computer from onedrive. I can leave it that way or partially install onedrive up to the point of installing the personal vault - just leave it hanging. That is how I have it now, I am waiting to see how that works and if it causes me any problems.

This solution is working for me since August 24, I have OneDrive with no continuous threats to not sync.

The best thing I have been able to do is unlink my computer from onedrive. I can leave it that way or partially install onedrive up to the point of installing the personal vault - just leave it hanging. That is how I have it now, I am waiting to see how that works and if it causes me any problems.

This solution is working for me since August 24, I have OneDrive with no continuous threats to not sync.

There is no option to disable it making it impossible to use for purposes such as uploading files over night. I have no other option but to cancel the subscription and move to different platform.

I would like to request a refund of the remaining subscription period.
