Please help me disable personal vault I didn't want it and I can't get rid of it.

My OneDrive is fine I don't need to restore it. I just want to get rid of Personal Vault. I never asked for it so its down to Microsoft to give us the ability to permanently disable and get rid rid of it.

I was facing with the same problem and I think I was able to find a solution.

While I was not able to find any way to disable or delete the Personal Vault, I manage to find a workaround.

What I did is to go in the https://onedrive.live.com/?v=managestorage link and on the left hand side you have the option to "Restore your OneDrive". You can select a custom date when you know the sync issue started. This option will NOT undo the creation/activation of the Personal Vault, but it will undo some files uploads which for some reason got stuck while syncing.

For me it worked to fix the syncing problem and to be sure that Personal Vault will not create any future disruptions, I have (re)moved all data from Personal Vault and never use it again.

I hope this will help some of you in fixing this issue.

OneDrive is free I don't pay I just don't want Personal Vault

I already pay for my Onedrive so cant switch out to the free version. M$ are almost totally absent from this thread. They really need to fix this or start loosing users to the likes of Apple or Google who dont have this near useless feature.
