Sharing a OneDrive folder with a client and I've set the permission to "Anyone with link can download" and they don't have an download option. If they navigate into a folder and select a file, they get a Download link. If they select two files, the Download link disappears. So they can have to download files one at a time.
Their spouse, who is logged in to their Microsoft account, can download.
This is clearly a bug. Please fix this bug ASAP.

Good plan. Just warn clients that if they're prompted to login to Dropbox there's a link at the bottom of that virtual popup to just continue without logging in.
I have the same issue! I store all my files on OneDrive and find it extremely frustrating that I need to upload many GBs of files to another platform in order to share with clients. This seems like it should be an obvious thing - it is completely unacceptable as a file sharing platform. Microsoft please sort this!
Forgive me, but how can you write such nonsense and how can you look down on customers so much?
This description exudes the contemptuous and dismissive mockery that the incompetent Microsoft constantly plays on people.
I'm already over the fact that it is incompetent to check the rules of my own language in the document, or that OneDrive is a huge mistake.
But the fact that your rookie level programmer and testing team were unable to catch that there is no download in the case of two or more files says everything about your company.
And if this was a brilliant management decision to avoid overloading your servers, then I can really say that you are consciously deceiving your customers and still expect us to trust you with our data.
What you did and doing continuously in that M$ company is terrible and shameful!
I've looked through other posts on this topic and it hasn't been resolved for months, maybe years. Google can do it, everyone else can, but this big brown steaming company can't do it!
Be proud to work for such a promising but unfulfilling company!

Do we have an update on the fix to allow folder/multiple files download?
Won't be fixed. Apparently this is now a "feature" for "security" -- really a feature so they can force people to have a Microsoft account for data mining.
