Folder Shared With Anyone Can't Download All, Can Only Download One At A Time

Sharing a OneDrive folder with a client and I've set the permission to "Anyone with link can download" and they don't have an download option. If they navigate into a folder and select a file, they get a Download link. If they select two files, the Download link disappears. So they can have to download files one at a time.

Their spouse, who is logged in to their Microsoft account, can download.

This is clearly a bug. Please fix this bug ASAP.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Make sure you're not logged in to your Microsoft account
  2. Click this link: Link to OneDrive folder with 2 files in it
  3. Select one file: You'll note there's a Download button
  4. Select the other file: Download button goes away
  5. Deselect all files and select the button next to the folder. No Download button.

    Im having a similar problem. . . a couple days ago download of a folder or multiple files stopped working.

    the button to download is there but clicking it does nothing. no matter if its 2 files or a folder full of files. nothing.

    also tried with different accounts. seems to be a problem with MS.

    and worst of all there is no error message, or indication of what is going wrong or how to go about an alternative method. i need to download about 800 files in a grouped organized folder structure, i cant do this one by one, itll take me the whole day. please provide a work around.

    My workaround is to use Dropbox.

    If you're bound and determined to use the steaming pile of **** that is OneDrive, I'd recommend uploading a single zip file if it'll allow you to download one file.

    5 July: Still not resolved.

    In fact, now it's worse! Logged in or not getting "Something went wrong" and the folder isn't available at all. Checking other folders that have been shared, same thing.
