Folder Shared With Anyone Can't Download All, Can Only Download One At A Time

Sharing a OneDrive folder with a client and I've set the permission to "Anyone with link can download" and they don't have an download option. If they navigate into a folder and select a file, they get a Download link. If they select two files, the Download link disappears. So they can have to download files one at a time.

Their spouse, who is logged in to their Microsoft account, can download.

This is clearly a bug. Please fix this bug ASAP.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Make sure you're not logged in to your Microsoft account
  2. Click this link: Link to OneDrive folder with 2 files in it
  3. Select one file: You'll note there's a Download button
  4. Select the other file: Download button goes away
  5. Deselect all files and select the button next to the folder. No Download button.

    yea, that folder is not working, i get the same error as you.

    login or no login makes no difference

    8 July: Still not resolved.

    In fact, now it's worse! Logged in or not getting "Something went wrong" and the folder isn't available at all. Checking other folders that have been shared, same thing.

    im not sure if friday's update had anything to do with it, but now its working for me. also spoke to our IT guy he said nothing was put out by MS to explain or alert to the issue, so maybe they quietly fixed something. it still leaves me very uneasy to rely on cloud storage to think that so suddenly my files can become inaccessible.

    did your system update over the weekend as well?
