    Based on what the Tech Support guy to Pedro above, it might be nothing more than showing the wrong screen when you try to update and none are available. If so, it may update fine when some are available again. If not, based on what the software has done so far, the Online Repair should do it. If it doesn't, Microsoft has a bigger problem.

    Well …. Many other PCs, including ours, are running exactly the same version and the update correctly shows we are

    up-to-date.

    So what causes some PCs to fail and others not is a mystery

    Of course, there is no such a thing as to identical PCs. Outs are heavily registry-hacked and abused but the office update runs well, even in PCs that run W11 in unsupported hardware.

    Who knows.

    Microsoft will never tell us the truth … one day the update will work ….

    And on the same version 17726.20078 I have the same error!!!
