Update error code 30088-27 Office 2021 what to do to get corrected????

Error is fixed,  set : options, General, Privacy Settings, Turn on all connected experiences

It is NOT fixed for many, many users, including myself. Turning on All Connected Experiences still results in the error for me.

Three pages of posts have been deleted, including some of my posts. Why?

Does the truth hurt Microsoft too much? I have a simple answer, FIX THE BUGS!

So, I guess the solution is to delete posts delineating the issue rather than fix the bugs?

You should first to have the newest office update:

BTW, did you just uninstall it or did you do something else? I just uninstall it from Apps.

I did not uninstall & reinstall, as I didn't want to deal with the 'activation' thing all over again (as I have installed it on several computers (ALWAYS uninstalling on the 'old' before installing on the 'new), I can no longer do "online" activation...I have to do "phone" activation). With Office 2021 installed, I just re-installed over the previous updated version. However, as I mentioned, even though this DID update Office to the most recent version, the 'error' message STILL appears when checking for updates. As such, it can be safely assumed that the code causing the problem is NOT part of the changes in the code for the most recent update, nor from the previous two updates. The code change causing the problem had to be from 3-4 versions ago (ie. Version 2405, Build 17628.20144 or Build 17628.20164). This is where Micrsoft programmers NEED to look...but, as many have already surmised, Microsoft probably doesn't care, and they are not truly trying to fix the problem...especially knowing that Office 2024 (the ONLY thing the Office team is TRULY concerned with) is set to be officially announced next month, and released before the end of the year.
