Update error code 30088-27 Office 2021 what to do to get corrected????

This problem was created by Microsoft and only Microsoft can fix this. I am not about to waste my time and jump through hoops for them to try and solve this problem for something THEY broke. I will wait for MS to remedy this as they are aware of this problem and they are working on it.

You are right as it is my choice and my choice is not to help as I do not send any zipped files from my computer to anyone to be shared with some contact that I do not know. The MS Office Team should and probably already knows about this and exactly what the problem is and are working on it. My question is when will MS respond to this thread and let all of us users know what is going on and when we can expect a fix.

First, chalk up my Dell XPS laptop amongst those having this exact same problem. Why it is taking Microsoft so long to figure out the cause of the problem, and fix it, we are all wondering. This is starting to remind me of the "randomly moving desktop icons" problem that started a little over a year ago. Microsoft 'claimed' to be working on a fix...yet, over a year later, there is still no fix.

As for sending any sort of file to "Stefan", I am in complete agreement that this is NOT something I'd trust doing, or suggest anyone else do. While it is possible that he is (as he claims) "in contact with" the MS Office team, and while it is possible that he does have the ability to pass along the files to Microsoft, he has presented no factual proof of this. I am not trying to 'discredit' him in any way...but, at the same time, none of us personally knows him, none of us knows whether (or not) he is truly "in contact with" anyone at Microsoft, and no one has any guarantees he will do with the files what he claims. The best way to protect ourselves is to NOT send any files to an individual whom we don't know.

I agree microsoft takes forever to fix anything. About 7 months ago outlook just stopped receiving one of my yahoo accounts, only one, the other three still work fine, and only on my desktop versions of outlook, all my desktop versions, but the mobile versions work with no problems. Yahoo didn't change any settings and Microsoft said "we'll keep trying to figure it out and let you know" never happened

We don't even know who you are. Ostensibly, you're a "Volunteer Moderator" which, I take it, means you don't actually work for Microsoft.

That's not a good thing as we need a real Microsoft tech to examine the files and/or read through this thread to try to further a resolution.

Sorry, but I'm not sharing sensitive files with anyone other than an employee of the company and I have NO IDEA WHY someone who actually WORKS FOR MICROSOFT can't respond to this thread.

I mean, WHAT IS THIS JOINT? No one from Microsoft sees anything posted here? If not, what's the point?
