Update error code 30088-27 Office 2021 what to do to get corrected????

Hello all! Getting the same error code 30088-27 Office 2019. Current version I am on is Microsoft® Word 2019 MSO (Version 2406 Build 16.0.17726.20078) 64-bit . Will keep an eye on this thread to see if MS gives a solution which I very seriously doubt according to other bugs they have introduced lately and will not fix. I did get my cumulative updates and store update today with no problem. I also reset my network using settings and everything is fine. Troubleshooting network found no problems and my ISP carrier is having no problems. It has to be Office so I figure MS is trying to push us to Microsoft 365.

It could be Office or it could be a setting or app on the particular computer causing the problem. I am running three systems with Home and Office 2019 and only one has the problem.

This is a problem created by MS sloppy work as usual and it will be up to them to fix this mess. Personally I am getting sick and tired of trying to correct their mistakes and them ruining our computers. I will be surprised if they even get around to fixing this problem or the other problems they have created in the past few months.

In a small office of Windows 11 and 10 machines running MSOffice 2016 and 2021.

6 machines at 2406.17726.20126. Of these 6 only 4 can update to 2406.17726.20160.

2 machines fail with error 30088-27. One is Windows 11- Office 2021, one is Windows 10- Office 2016.

The common factor in both machines that failed: the users always "double check" Office updates by doing them twice. Thats when the error first occured.
