Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
I also had the same problem with Office 2024 Preview which started from Update 2407 (build 17830.20056) after licence-switching retail.

Happened to me as well. I'm on the retail channel, made a online repair of Microsoft 365 a couple of days ago and got version 2407 (build 17830.20094) from the preview channel. But the issue is still existenting. Then I deinstalled and reinstalled Microsoft 365 from the retail channel and now I'm having version 2406 (build 17726.20160) again on my system.
A few days ago I did an online repair and I am not a preview channel subscriber.
I was updated to the 2407 build of Office 365 on a Windows 10 Pro Machine. I was till getting the error.
Today I did an online repair of 2407 and the error is not fixed.
I have rolled back to 2405 and will wait to update once the error is confirmed as being fixed.
I'm a retail customer of MS 365, not in any special program that I know of.
You're running a preview build.
Via an "online repair" action just now on MS 365, the "about" button shows Ver 2407 Build 17830.20094. Prior to this action, it showed ... 20084. The 30088-27 problem still exists. If the "about" button is clicked, it shows Ver 2407 16.0.17830.20056.
I'm a retail customer of MS 365, not in any special program that I know of. I would like to think that this "online repair" action is keeping MS 365 up-to-date while we await resolution of the 30088-27 problem.
