Update error code 30088-27 Office 2021 what to do to get corrected????

Thanks again, but I'm really not sure re the terminology you're using nor can I implement the instructions (in the least).

Again, I am curious as to how this can be the issue since some users appear to be totally unaffected while others can't seem to resolve it no matter what they do and reverting back to an earlier build (prior to the change) produces the same result.

Then you have to configure your firewall to the Office Update CDNs and Office Cloud destinations.

Make sure you Default GW also is not doing Layer 7 interceptions, this has caused issues with our Office to Azure in the past.

What if you're not using a proxy, though? I'm not all that technical but when I check it indicates I'm using direct access.

No it did not fix the issue, unfortunately.

Also, I was actually unaware that this was a Preview build when I updated. I really don't care but it would have been nice to know that in advance.

Regardless, the issue remains, for me at least.
