Does anyone know the guy from Gamers Nexus? Would he be interested in weighing in on this?

I can only hope that Office 2024, and Outlook in particular, finally fixes all the outstanding bugs so I can upgrade and just move on.

Hope that happens but whatever's going on here doesn't seem like some sort of universal-type bug. Some people aren't getting this error or have been able to resolve it on their own. Others can't seem to get it working no matter what they do. So it looks like it affects quite a few people but not all which may mean an upgrade won't do the trick unless it addresses the specific cause of this issue some users are experiencing.

I'm so fed up with this bug!

Ditto to that and it's really frustrating because everything else works except the update feature. For example, I reverted to an earlier build and all I had to do to get back to the current build was run Online Repair so THAT works but not the internal update button.

I suppose I could just run Online Repair every time there's a new update available.

I can no longer do "online" activation...I have to do "phone" activation).

    Ugh! Well, that's no fun!

In the interim, nothing seems to be working anyway so these efforts appear to be futile. They deleted an entire thread related to this error and the only suggestion they can muster is to roll back to a version that was released in May. No thanks!

You should first to have the newest office update:

Thanks for the tip but, as you can see, my software is up to date.
