Cannot upload to a shared OneDrive folder

I have a Microsoft 365 personal account. I have shared folders for the recipient to upload files too. The recipient has been able to upload in the past with no issues; however the last couple of months they can no longer upload files to my shared folder. They have full edit permissions; they can access the folder, they can download files from the folder but they cannot upload to the folder. They receive no error messages just a blank screen. They have tried dragging and dropping the files, it looks like it will upload but then nothing happens, same occurs if they click the option to upload file or folder lets them select the file and click upload but again nothing happens. Folder remains empty and there are no error messages or pop-ups received. I have deleted the folder and created a new one; shared via a link and via an email address same issue. I have shared folders with other recipients to see if the issue is isolated to one person; it is not it happens to all from different folders created and shared. Not sure what has changed as I have been sharing folders for over 3 years for the recipient to upload with no problems. What has changed and how do I fix this?

    Hi William,

    Wouldn't it be prudent to:

    1. Notify all OneDrive users about the bug, with an approximate timeline for resolution
    2. Notify all OneDrive users, not just Vicky, when the issue has been resolved.

My family has wasted a lot of time trying to upload some files to share with me. It would have been nice to know it wasn't possible.

Incredibly, it's now October and this still seems to be an issue. My partner is trying to upload to a shared folder that I created. He has edit access, but gets a message saying he doesn't have permission to save to the folder. And that's using a mobile, which I see has been offered as a temporary solution in this thread.

Is there a timeline on fixing this? The main reason I maintain a OneDrive is to exchange full resolution kid photos with other parents. Right now, this doesn't serve that purpose since they cannot upload their photos for me. If there is no planned resolution, I will have to switch to a different service so that I don't miss out on big event photos.

I am working on a desktop in a OneDrive folder that has been shared with me. Even though I successfully logged in to OneDrive via the icon on my taskbar, that is not reflected in the shared folder; the icon in the upper right corner is blank, the text reads "Sign In", and when I tried to sign in, I was not presented with the sign in interface; rather I got bounced back to the shared folder. Although I am able to edit Word documents in the shared folder, I have been unable to either create directories or upload files. I have unlinked my PC and logged back in again, to no avail. Now that I have found your post, I see that I am not the only one with this problem, and that it has been a known issue for users around the world many months now. When do you anticipate that the Microsoft Dev Team will escalate and resolve this issue?
