Cannot upload to a shared OneDrive folder

I have a Microsoft 365 personal account. I have shared folders for the recipient to upload files too. The recipient has been able to upload in the past with no issues; however the last couple of months they can no longer upload files to my shared folder. They have full edit permissions; they can access the folder, they can download files from the folder but they cannot upload to the folder. They receive no error messages just a blank screen. They have tried dragging and dropping the files, it looks like it will upload but then nothing happens, same occurs if they click the option to upload file or folder lets them select the file and click upload but again nothing happens. Folder remains empty and there are no error messages or pop-ups received. I have deleted the folder and created a new one; shared via a link and via an email address same issue. I have shared folders with other recipients to see if the issue is isolated to one person; it is not it happens to all from different folders created and shared. Not sure what has changed as I have been sharing folders for over 3 years for the recipient to upload with no problems. What has changed and how do I fix this?

    William,

    Has there been any update on the situation. I had no problem last semester asking students to upload their videos to my personal OneDrive even if they did not have an Outlook account. Now that I am trying to do it again, they are unable to upload anything.

    This functionality is one of the primary reasons I keep a 365 account. If the issue can't be resolved I don't see much reason to pay every year for the service.

    Hi William,

    Can you please provide an update on the "bug fix" as I am still experiencing issues and now it is also extended to the mobile device functionality meaning whether I share a folder online or via mobile device the recipient cannot upload to the shared folder. Also 50% of the time I the invitation to share a folder via the mobile device will not send I receive a message stating that "unfortunately the email cannot be sent and this point in time, try again later."

    This is extremely disappointing that it has not been corrected nor has Microsoft contacted their membership to advise of the issue and provide timeframe for rectification. I use OneDrive primarily for this function, shared folders with my clients to upload their information to me for processing.

    Do you have a time frame for this fix. It seems like a problem that has been going on for a while. I am also having issues with the uploading of files to a shared folder. It does nothing!! Very frustrating when one of the key reasons we use this storage is for that functionality!

    We are experiencing exactly the same issue. My colleague is trying to upload videos into a shared folder i have setup and it appears at first as if the upload is working (mobile only - no option from desktop browser) but after a short while it says error and that the file cannot be uploaded. We need a solution asap as this is causing all sorts of project issues right now.

    This is a basic functionality of OneDrive, promoted by Microsoft. But now it does not work--without even an error message. Microsoft needs to fix
