Cannot upload to a shared OneDrive folder

From your description, I understand that you are experiencing some issues when uploading files to a shared folder in OneDrive. Unfortunately this problem is caused by a recent bug in OneDrive Online. And we have collected many reports from different users over the world. For now there's an alternative way: manage your files via OneDrive mobile apps. I must apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. Let's wait for Microsoft dev team to fix this issue.

William, Evidently this has not been fixed. Any updates on this? I cannot upload files to our Golf League's Shared One Drive. I have been experiencing this for about a month. Come on you guys can do better than this. Dan Kinard

I tried what you suggested but it didn't work for me. Hopefully Microsoft will fix this soon.

In the meantime, I'm using a shared folder in Google Drive to transfer files.

I have a Microsoft 365 personal account. I have shared folders for the recipient to upload files too. The recipient has been able to upload in the past with no issues; however the last couple of months they can no longer upload files to my shared folder. They have full edit permissions; they can access the folder, they can download files from the folder but they cannot upload to the folder. They receive no error messages just a blank screen. They have tried dragging and dropping the files, it looks like it will upload but then nothing happens, same occurs if they click the option to upload file or folder lets them select the file and click upload but again nothing happens. Folder remains empty and there are no error messages or pop-ups received. I have deleted the folder and created a new one; shared via a link and via an email address same issue. I have shared folders with other recipients to see if the issue is isolated to one person; it is not it happens to all from different folders created and shared. Not sure what has changed as I have been sharing folders for over 3 years for the recipient to upload with no problems. What has changed and how do I fix this?

I have found that if I find a way to get Microsoft to recognise me, by logging in to anther Chrome browser and opening my Onedrive, or opening the diamond icon to view upgrades...I get the menu icons for actions in the folders appearing in my own onedrive, and then finally in the shared onedrive, and then can edit the folders...takes a while, but once Microsoft recognises me...by signing in and out in various windows, it works...

I have the same problem, we used shared folders with external clients for our business and this stopped working a few months ago.

when will it be fixed?
