Cannot upload to a shared OneDrive folder

I have a Microsoft 365 personal account. I have shared folders for the recipient to upload files too. The recipient has been able to upload in the past with no issues; however the last couple of months they can no longer upload files to my shared folder. They have full edit permissions; they can access the folder, they can download files from the folder but they cannot upload to the folder. They receive no error messages just a blank screen. They have tried dragging and dropping the files, it looks like it will upload but then nothing happens, same occurs if they click the option to upload file or folder lets them select the file and click upload but again nothing happens. Folder remains empty and there are no error messages or pop-ups received. I have deleted the folder and created a new one; shared via a link and via an email address same issue. I have shared folders with other recipients to see if the issue is isolated to one person; it is not it happens to all from different folders created and shared. Not sure what has changed as I have been sharing folders for over 3 years for the recipient to upload with no problems. What has changed and how do I fix this?

    Coming to this now...

The issue is unresolved as OneDrive still will not accept multiple uploads from a folder. All other issues center-focus on the downloading, which is irrelevant.

Guess OneDrive or Microsoft will not fix this bug as it's been over a year now, with no response.

    Thank goodness for Google Drive!

Hi Folks: I just tested this functionality. It worked, using the URL of the shared folder on the user account (Microsoft). I sent the URL to the user that I shared the folder with using Outlook ("For What It's Worth"). At first, I could only see the files that the other user uploaded by accessing OneDrive (on my PC) through the browser (Edge, not in File Explorer) on my PC. So, I decided to go "Old School". I rebooted my PC, and all of the file showed up in File Explorer. I kept testing and the functionality worked. In the "For What it's Worth Department" both PCs are running Windows 11 Pro.

Could you tell us when the "new updated version of one drive" is or was released? I have this problem and your workaround is frankly absurdly laborious!

Hi, I have now got this problem in my one drive apps (whether on a pc or on my android phone) and I see that you had identified the bug and were waiting for it to be fixed 10 months ago. Can you please confirm what the fix is and tell me how to resolve the problem!

(I have registered a service request with microsoft support, but after a week there has been absolutely no reply or contact, and I haven't even been assigned a person to help yet. There seems to be no way to escalate. How long am I expected to wait for a reply?)
