Cannot upload to a shared OneDrive folder

I have a Microsoft 365 personal account. I have shared folders for the recipient to upload files too. The recipient has been able to upload in the past with no issues; however the last couple of months they can no longer upload files to my shared folder. They have full edit permissions; they can access the folder, they can download files from the folder but they cannot upload to the folder. They receive no error messages just a blank screen. They have tried dragging and dropping the files, it looks like it will upload but then nothing happens, same occurs if they click the option to upload file or folder lets them select the file and click upload but again nothing happens. Folder remains empty and there are no error messages or pop-ups received. I have deleted the folder and created a new one; shared via a link and via an email address same issue. I have shared folders with other recipients to see if the issue is isolated to one person; it is not it happens to all from different folders created and shared. Not sure what has changed as I have been sharing folders for over 3 years for the recipient to upload with no problems. What has changed and how do I fix this?

    Coming to this now...

The issue is unresolved as OneDrive still will not accept multiple uploads from a folder. All other issues center-focus on the downloading, which is irrelevant.

Guess OneDrive or Microsoft will not fix this bug as it's been over a year now, with no response.

    Thank goodness for Google Drive!

Hi Folks: I just tested this functionality. It worked, using the URL of the shared folder on the user account (Microsoft). I sent the URL to the user that I shared the folder with using Outlook ("For What It's Worth"). At first, I could only see the files that the other user uploaded by accessing OneDrive (on my PC) through the browser (Edge, not in File Explorer) on my PC. So, I decided to go "Old School". I rebooted my PC, and all of the file showed up in File Explorer. I kept testing and the functionality worked. In the "For What it's Worth Department" both PCs are running Windows 11 Pro.

    Hi Nelly:

    Thanks for the information.

I tried what you suggested but it didn't work for me. Hopefully Microsoft will fix this soon.

In the meantime, I'm using a shared folder in Google Drive to transfer files.

    Jim

I have found that if I find a way to get Microsoft to recognise me, by logging in to anther Chrome browser and opening my Onedrive, or opening the diamond icon to view upgrades...I get the menu icons for actions in the folders appearing in my own onedrive, and then finally in the shared onedrive, and then can edit the folders...takes a while, but once Microsoft recognises me...by signing in and out in various windows, it works...

    Hi William,

Thank you for your response, it's very much appreciated. I will try via OneDrive mobile apps as suggested.

Could you please advise if there is an approximate timeframe on the bug fix?

    Kind regards,

    Vicky
