Why does the "Restart Office to apply privacy settings" not go away even after i have closed all office products, restarted them i have even restarted PC and still every time i open an office priduct i have this same issue?

Restarted multiple times in different applications, rebooted PC still same error

    Agreed!

    Please stop asking users to do the debugging work for Microsoft. For you to give a user what amounts to an hour's worth of work without actually knowing that the work will resolve the problem is from a user's perspective, utterly stupid!

    Asking us to spend a large amount of time debugging is not acceptable!\

    Please DON"T just tell us that MS needs to work on this. Escalate to higher management. Report back to us on the time frame for addressing the problems.

    Please focus on fixing the MS-created bugs that are so annoying and hamper productivity.

    Wish I could recall. I removed and reinstalled the Office-MS 365 applications many times. I suspect that along the way I reset Windows and that did the trick. This is something I end up doing once or twice a year. A fresh start is too often the only way to fix bugs beyond Microsoft’s abilities.

    "restart office to apply changes to your privacy settings" this is the - Microsoft Community - not sure if anyone posted this yet. Not tried it yet. I will when I have a chance to live without Office, as often when I run recommendations from support it breaks everything. Being careful on this one.
