Hi. I had some folders shared from different users in my OneDrive account. I had added the folders to my OneDrive with Add Shortcut to OneDrive button from Shared folders in cloud. The account is logged into a windows pc and every files including the folders shared with my were syncing fine until yesterday. Yesterday night the shared folders were completely removed from the Windows pc and folders are replaced with internet shortcut. This is such a big mess. I have tried unlinking the account and linking it back, changing the location of OneDrive on my windows pc and tried to get a new folder shared to my account and adding it to OneDrive. Nothing works so far. OneDrive has a big part in my daily activities. Please help me resolve this.

Here is the statement from the Microsoft OneDrive product group (Redmond USA) about the OneDrive Personal problem:

***This is related to a backend migration we are doing and unfortunately, we don’t fully support syncing shared folders in the case where one user has migrated and the other has not. We’re doing everything possible to accelerate things so that it can be resolved as soon as possible for users of the feature. When the accounts are migrated, there is automated logic that makes them go back to a syncing folder within several days.***I have heard, that shared Folder issue is gone.
The best thing is: WAIT and do nothing

I got that too and performing a one drive reset (already covered in this thread) solved the issue.

It's not very clear for me how, but I had this message too. I reloaded the page, went to "Shared with you", tried again. Removed the link from my local folder, forced the sync (stopping it and restarting it). And after several tries, several days, it worked.

The link was there at the beginning and I hoped this would restore alone as for some users.

Once I saw OneDrive was looking for changes, it seemed to resync several tens of thousands of files, but nothing happened in the end.

The day after, I removed to .url shortcut, reloaded the onedrive web page, added the shortcut again... and the feature was back !

Can't exactly describe a clear process to follow to solve the problem, but I couldn't just stay and wait.

I can now unsubscribe from this thread, Hope you'll be migrated soon !

(I was hit two months ago for the first time).

This happened to me where a message came on my Outlook on April 10 saying our 365 subscription ahd expired when we renew in September every year nd it is fine and my husband was not affected by this. I am the family member and could not email for sseveral hours and did not know why. I had to pay -yes pay for urgent investigation by an IT company who I bought my fairly new laptop from and they thought it was a phishign issue at first (with the message) because of payment associations. But they finally found a message pn Microsoft portal saying the issue was fixed - I did not know and had no message about anything and chasing slmeone who knows anythig about it within Microsoft help produced no help at all. Two people ad remoting did not help. The tech guy was not brifed when transferred by the person who reoted as she said she would. He kenw nothing. He had not been told. AND on top f everythign it still keeps telling me 24 hours after speaking to teccch that my i ccoud storge of one terabygte is full which it is not, andd it will not save and there are red X's against a lot of folders and against i cloud. This is So BAD! We pay Microsoft for this? I am in limbo like mos of you.
