They're probably reading this topic and laughing at us. Then, one of their employees might come around and post something entirely unrelated with unsolicited advice that does not help at all just to say they provided customer service.
Why can't they come here and tell us that they're aware of this specific problem, give us at least some idea of why this is happening and give us an estimated date/time to have the issue solved or tell us how we can have all our accounts on the same side of the border, once and for all?
They could give us a special method to request to be migrated so we could be put on a priority queue to be moved to the "new server", that way having all our accounts on the same side?
I don't think a large percentage of their users is affected. If they could just migrate people who log on their onedrive via web and, maybe, open "advanced settings" and click on a button to "migrate to new server if you are having problems with shared folders"...
That would put us on a priority list with the accounts that make that request. We could share the same procedure with friends and family members that share content with us (or the other way around) and we'd be all happy customers with your service working again, as intended.
It would be great if there was some way for us to bump up the priority of the migration of our account.
I used "Help" -> "Contact support" to request my account be migrated, but this seems to have fallen on deaf ears.
I suspect that Microsoft will be sceduling the migrations based on some sort of order such as
- Storage Used (smallest first)
- Age of account (newest first)
NB: This is just my educated guess (as a software developer)
