PPT not allowing you to resize objects using an iPad?

Hi, has anyone found a fix to PPT not allowing you to resize objects in PPT? Seems to be a new problem from another discussion thread but there isn’t any insight into any work around or when/how this can be fixed. Would greatly appreciate any insight.

    Exactly the same issue here, with the same configuration.

    Very frustrating and quite unusable when working a lot on PowerPoint.. Please help !
